Welcome back to campus!
On 9 February, most of the pandemic restrictions in Sweden were lifted. Kristianstad University continue the return to normal activities at the university, and look forward to being able to meet on a campus full of students!
The changes to more campus activities need to take place gradually, which means that some teaching may remain digital in the near future. Students receive information about what applies to your courses via the course coordinators/programme directors. Stay up to date in the Canvas learning platform and in your schedule so as not to miss out on current information.
The university's premises
The premises on campus are now being restored, which means that the adaptations due to covid-19 will be removed.
Hand sanitizer will remain at the entrances, among other places.
The buildings used for teaching are open weekdays at 07.30–17.00. Students with the HKR card can enter between 07.00 and 22.00 every day of the week. If you do not already have the new card, that was introduced in the autumn of 2021, you can order it easily: Order the HKR card.
Building 7 is open when the reception and library are open, normally weekdays between 8.00 and 16.00. Deviating times may occur.
In case of symptoms or illness
If you are ill or have symptoms of illness, you are advised to stay at home so as not to risk infecting others.
All the university's students can be vaccinated
Everyone who studies at Kristianstad University has the opportunity to be vaccinated against covid-19, even if you are registered in another region and if you have taken your first doses somewhere else. The vaccine is free for everyone.

Follow the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations
Although restrictions have now been lifted, covid-19 is still spreading. Therefore, it is important to follow the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations. Find out more at the Public Health Agency's web site.
