As a student at Kristianstad University you will need an account to use the University's IT resources. Read more about user name and password.
When do I recieve my account information?
If you're a new student at HKR and have been accepted to a program and/or a course we will send you your account information before the start of the semester. If you have entered an email address when you applied we will send the information by email, otherwise we will send it by regular mail. If you don't have a Swedish postal address you will recive the information from your program/course co-ordinator.
Why have I not recieved my account information?
If you have studied at Kristianstad University for the past two years we won't automatically send the information to you again. You may order your information again by ordering your account information again. The page is encrypted for secure communication. Please accept/install any certificates your browser might ask for.
For how long can I use my account?
If you haven't been accepted to any new programs and/or courses your account will be deactivated about a month and a half after the end of the last semester. If you terminate your studies we will deactivate your account.
When will my account be deleted?
We normally delete accounts about 18 months after completed studies.
I have lost/forgotten my username/password. What do I do?
If you have a swedish address you may order your account information again. The page is encrypted for secure communication. Please accept/install any certificates your browser might ask for. There is a limit to this service which prevents you from ordering your account information within 30 days since last time. The administration for your study section may help you with account retrieval but remember to bring proof of identity. For security reasons we do not give away account information by email or over the phone.
I have changed my last name and my account name is no longer correct. What do I do?
If you have a Swedish social security number, this is automatically changed as we have an update to the Swedish Tax Agency. If you do not have a Swedish social security number, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have received several first names in your e-mail address, contact the Swedish Tax Agency to choose a prefered primary first name.
