New waste sorting for a more sustainable university
From week 11 we will have a new system for waste sorting at Kristianstad University. There will be six different waste bins: food waste, paper packaging, plastic packaging, glass, residual waste and metal.
All six types of waste bins will be found in the student kitchens. In buildings 14, 15, 17, 20 and 21, there will be a collection point on floor 2. This means that there will no longer be waste bins in the corridors on floors 1, 3 and 4. Thank you for sorting your waste at the collection point or in the student kitchen!
