Would you like to help shape the future campus in the city? Now’s your chance! The first draft of the university's new city campus plans is now on display, and we want to hear what YOU think about it. Here’s your opportunity to explore our vision and share your ideas for making the campus an inspiring place to study.
The plans will be on display in the library (Building 7) from November 5th to 15th.
Two Key Questions We Want Answers To
During the exhibition, we’re especially keen to hear your thoughts on two questions: are the facilities placed in the right locations in relation to each other? And is there any key function or space missing in the current proposal?
- We’re still in a relatively early stage of the process, so right now we can be most influenced by everyone’s ideas. Together, we can create a campus that accommodates both studies and student life, says Magnus Ahlrot, project manager.
The Proposal is Open to Your Ideas
The displayed plans are still just drafts and will be adjusted based on the feedback we receive—from students and university staff alike. The final design of the campus will also depend on overarching decisions made by Kristianstad Municipality in the forthcoming detailed plan.
Current Focus: Spaces and Flow
At this early stage, our focus is on the big picture: how spaces are allocated, where various functions are placed, and how you’ll be able to move through the campus. Details like interior design, lighting, power outlets, and similar elements will be worked out in the next phase.
Come By and Share Your Thoughts!
Visit the exhibition and make your voice heard. By contributing your ideas, you’ll help create a campus that’s not just a place for studying, but a space where community, inspiration, and growth are at the center.
