Vaccination against COVID-19, for international students
All international students have the opportunity to get two doses of the Moderna vaccine for free. Vaccination is the most effective way of avoiding serious illness or death due to the disease. Vaccination also helps reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the community. It is therefore important that as many as possible choose to get vaccinated.
If you have received vaccine in your home country and are unsure if the vaccine is approved in Europe you can fill in the form below and we will make sure that healthcare staff check it up and get back to you.
Kristianstad University have an agreement with healthcare facilities in Kristianstad and we are able to give every international student both dose one and two in a facility on campus starting in week 36. Everyone will get an individual time for the vaccination, and will be informed a couple of days before.

Information about the vaccination Bring your identification to the specified location. You will receive the vaccine as a needle jab in the arm. Two shots are normally required. You will get the shots at different times. You will be asked to stay for 15 minutes after receiving your shot. This is to make sure you feel fine afterwards. Two weeks after receiving the second dose of the vaccine, you will have very good protection against COVID-19. You will have good protection three weeks after the first dose of vaccine, even if you are getting it in two doses. You cannot choose which vaccine you receive. You have the right to receive information from the healthcare staff when getting the vaccination. If you have any questions, just ask! |
Before you get the vaccination you have to fill in some information in the form below. You need to do that no later than 3 September.

Before the vaccination day you also have to fill in another two forms, which we will hand over to the healthcare facility. You fill in the forms in the reception in building 7 on the university campus. Don’t forget to bring identification. You can also print them out yourself on the links below, and then leave them in the reception.
