Digital Degree Certificates from April 2024
As part of the university's digitisation efforts, from 1 April, 2024, we will solely issue digital degree certificates. The digital degree certificate generates a PDF file with an e-stamp serving as your degree certificate. The appearance of the degree certificate does not differ from previously issued certificates.
Once the degree has been issued, a notification will be sent to the email address provided in Ladok. Subsequently, it is possible to download and print the degree certificate. This can be done repeatedly as needed.
A digital degree certificate facilitates employers in verifying students' degrees from Kristianstad University. The degree certificate is e-stamped. This means that the document cannot be altered after being retrieved from Ladok. Verification of the stamp can be done by uploading the document on Ladok's verification page, which is linked on your degree certificate. It is also possible to verify the e-stamp via Adobe. The validity period of the e-stamp is 2 years, after which a new PDF file needs to be downloaded for the degree certificate to have a valid e-stamp.
